Sunset decks showcase view

Location has dictated the design of a new apartment project with a grand four-bedroom penthouse

THE DESIGN of a new Palm Beach project capitalises on its direct beachfront access and uninterrupted ocean and hinterland views. Velocity Property Group’s ONE Palm Beach project will offer sweeping ocean vistas – either to Surfers Paradise or Coolangatta – from all 17 apartments. Hinterland views will be available from level three.

Group CEO Brendon Ansell said the Palm Beach location dictated the design with most apartments featuring sunset and oceanfront decks. “We specialise in creating homes that not only make the most of their location, but that also positively change the dynamic of the community into which our new developments go,” he said.

“In this unique spot at Palm Beach we have created apartments that showcase stunning ocean views from all of the living and master bedroom spaces. We have also incorporated sunset decks for residents to delight in the beautiful sunsets over the hinterland.”

Mr Ansell said the penthouse would be spectacular, not just for its size, views and opulent features, but also for its ideal elevation.

“The 466sq m grand penthouse is eight levels up, so it is at optimal height for absolute beachfront views, breezes and living,” he said.

It has four bedrooms, four bathrooms plus a powder room, two living areas, a fireplace and large media room opening onto a deck.

The 16 three-bedroom apartments include at least two bathrooms and most have separate media rooms. All have two car parks.

“Part of the Velocity Property Group hallmark is to maximise space in the living and balcony areas of our apartments where people spend most of their time,” Mr Ansell said.

“To do this we take space from common areas that have traditionally used a lot of square metreage, such as the lobby.

“At ONE Palm Beach we have reduced the lobby size but made it beautiful and functional with a full green wall that will clean the interior air space and act as a soundproof barrier when people are moving through the space to the pool and from the entry.”

Resident facilities include a beach yoga deck and pool.

Prices start at $1.695 million with the project being marketed by Ray White agent Scott Wagner.
