Super-sized blocks on offer

BUYER demand at a Gold Coast hinterland project has led to the developer fast-tracking a new release of large lifestyle blocks.

Huntington Rise at Maudsland sold out its latest 40-lot release in just four months, prompting project manager DCF (HRPV) Pty Ltd to release a limited selection of blocks, ranging from 1600sq m to 3200sq m, next month.

Colliers Internatio­nal marketing agent Daniel Hirst said only 10 of the super-sized blocks would be available. Prices range from $369,000 to $418,000.

“This is an opportunit­y not to be missed, as lifestyle lots of this nature are always keenly sought after and not easy to find in the Gold Coast region,” Mr Hirst said.

Each of the elevated blocks has been designed around the natural landscape. Buyers can choose their own home design or opt for a house-and-land package.

Builders including Metricon, Plantation, Perry, Clarendon, Stylemaste­r, Bold Living and Simonds have packages available.

Mr Hirst said Huntington Rise was now a well-establishe­d estate with many attraction­s for its growing community.

“Currently there are already 73 families that call Huntington Rise home, with 90 per cent of them being owner-occupiers,” he said.

“Typically, these are people who set out to build a family home within easy access to work in Brisbane and the Gold Coast and found their ideal location right here.

“The estate is situated in the undulating part of the Gold Coast Hinterland and set back from the traffic noise of the highways, yet it offers easy access to Pacific Motorway with Brisbane and Surfers Paradise being only 45 minutes and 25 minutes away respective­ly.

“There is also the added convenienc­e of having the major shopping centres such as Westfield Helensvale and Pacific Pines Town Centre, schools, sports facilities, medical centres, golf courses, marinas and beaches all within easy reach just a short drive down the road.”

Mr Hirst said the recent surge in buyer interest had seen the sold-out release sell with an average lot price of $274,000.

“The buyer demand for Huntington Rise is reflective of the northern Gold Coast population growth and the increased business activity in the region,” he said.

“It is also a statement of confidence in a project that carries the proven developmen­t expertise of the Dennis family.

“Now the release of the large lifestyle lots adds an exciting new dimension to what has already been achieved at Huntington Rise.”

The sales office at Buckingham Rd, Maudsland, is open Saturday to Wednesday from 11am to 4pm.
