Luxury lures buyer interest

The growth and activity in the Gold Coast market is evident in sales of Northcliffe Residences apartments, with 60 per cent sold

NEW real estate brand, The Agency, has been appointed to sell Northcliffe Residences.

Located at 3 Northcliffe Tce, Surfers Paradise, the $111 million tower, developed by Chinese company CNCQ, will include a fourbedroom penthouse – with its own rooftop pool – and a $6 million price tag.

Co-founded by a group of former McGrath senior executives, The Agency has already sold 60 per cent of apartments in the 25-storey tower.

Projects leader Steven Chen, who originally launched the project, said the upscale tower has been one of the best-selling projects on the Gold Coast in the past 18 months with $60 million in pre-sales achieved.

“The Gold Coast is Australia’s growth market where there is so much activity and interest, generated in part by the city’s hosting of the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the confidence in the local economy,” Mr Chen said. He said he was thrilled to be re-engaging under The Agency brand with a project that he had been involved with since its release to the market.

The Agency, established in January this year, has five offices in Sydney and Perth with plans to open an office at Broadbeach.

Designed by architect Cottee Parker, Northcliffe Residences will offer luxury 75 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, the twolevel penthouse and four whole-floor subpenthouses.
