It’s easy to see why buyers are drawn to the Seabright community at Jacobs Well

- WORDS ALEISHA PIDGEON

BUYERS are flocking to the Seabright community in Jacobs Well with the 107-lot community nearing a sellout.

Launched to the market just over a year ago, Seabright – located in the Gold Coast’s rapidly growing northern corridor – has been among developer Villa World’s fastest selling communities.

A strong sales run in the third stage prompted the developer to fast-track the release of the final stage at Seabright, comprising 21 lots.

Early registrations of interest have already been received from a range of buyers.

Villa World development manager Peter Johnson said the level of inquiry in recent weeks had lifted the pace of demand for the remaining lots at Seabright to such an extent that he expected it could be completely sold out by the end of August.

“Following a recent marketing campaign we’ve had a remarkable rate of inquiry from buyers who had never been out to Jacobs Well before,” Mr Johnson said.

“We’re stunned at how quickly the final stage of this project has gained traction with the market.”

Downsizers Ken and Christine Hillier (pictured) are among the early takers at Seabright after swapping their acreage property near Rosemount Farm at Belivah, just west of Beenleigh, for what they consider their forever-home at Seabright.

The couple was drawn to the quiet, coastal lifestyle of the new waterside community and are looking forward to their new life at “The Well”.

“After driving through the area a little while ago we fell in love with the region,” Mrs Hillier said.

“Jacobs Well has a small-town feel and a comforting sense of slower times.”

Mrs Hillier owns her own business and takes the short commute to work in Beenleigh, while her husband Ken is retired and enjoys the coastal seaside vibe at their new home.

“The location is just so pleasant and beautiful,” she said.

You feel as though you’re so far away from everything but we’re still so central with the motorway just a short drive from home and the shops a stone’s throw away.

Mr Johnson said the boutique community had appealed to a mix of mainly first-home buyers and investors.

Priced from $455,000, Seabright’s threeand four-bedroom homes feature open-plan living spaces connecting with a covered patio, kitchen with stone benches and stainless steel appliances and a double lockup garage.
