Owned by New Zealand couple Nick Gordon and his wife Andrea, the sky-home has been their home-away-from-home for the past decade.

“The sunshine brought us to the Gold Coast and since buying here, the city has been our top travel destinatio­n for 10 wonderful years,” Mr Gordon said. “Travelling here so much is probably the reason why our daughter moved to Queensland.”

On the 29th floor of the Artique building, the home offers absolute style.

The couple, who bought the 268sq m property off the plan, said they customised the design and added some of their favourite finishes and fixtures.

“We gave it our personal touch so it would suit our family and lifestyle,” the father-ofthree said.

Some of the stylish changes include a versatile layout and a splash of marble in the bathroom.

“It was just the little things like adding in a bigger shower and having the media room closer to the kitchen.”

Mr Gordon, a technology entreprene­ur, said his favourite feature was the soaring ceilings. “We hunted for a bigger place for a while but there was nothing quite like this place,” he said. “The ceilings are very high, which is what I think makes it stand out from every apartment we’ve been in.
