Enjoy idyllic of slice beachfront paradise

A high quality stone and timber finish has transformed this exclusive designer apartment in a tightly held complex that takes in the Burleigh Heads oceanfront

ONE aspect that hasn’t changed in the 12 years vendor Christine Odell has owned her apartment is the “nice little spot that has a gap in the trees so you get this beautiful beach view”.

The ocean is visible from throughout the residence, which occupies an entire floor of the Aspect residential building.

“It just encompasses you in this gorgeous haven, you can watch whales go past,” Ms Odell said. “I’m up and out on the beach every morning before 6am.”

A balcony leading out from the master suite also offers a luxurious oceanfront vantage point, decked out with a spa.

Ms Odell began to renovate the apartment in July, gutting it and starting fresh with black butt flooring, stone kitchen and bathroom, new carpet, timber walls and lighting before listing the apartment to expand her property portfolio.

“It’s for sale at the higher end of the market so you have to do things well,” Ms Odell said.

“Every finish is top quality, I wanted to keep up that standard.”

The renovation coincided with a revamp of the building’s exterior and most of the seven other apartments followed suit.

“We’d just painted the exterior and did some beautiful tiles around the pool, one of the other owners has green thumbs so did the gardens,” she said.

“It’s kind of like having your own home.”
