AFFORDABILITY-driven sales momentum has pushed the button on the next phase of the $162 million boutique apartment project in Robina, according to its developers.

Cambridge Residences has achieved sellout and completion of its first stage, with 164 apartments across two towers.

Project manager for the development Graham Goldman, of Eastview Australia, said the developer on Laver Drive was now turning its attention to the project’s next phase – buoyed along by keen first homebuyer and investor interest.

Mr Goldman said construction of the third tower was due to start in late February with completion by August 2019, with Condev Construction being appointed.

The third stage has been brought forward and launched to the market offering a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments priced from $330,000.

The agency director of projects Steven Chen said Tower 3 offered some of the best value apartments available for sale on the Gold Coast. “This is undoubtedly one of the most convenient and well-connected CBD locations in the city,” Mr Chen said.

Tower 3 of Cambridge Residences will comprise 127 apartments across 12 levels with resident facilities including a swimming pool, gymnasium, barbecue area and basement parking. Apartment sizes range from 74sq m to 158sq m including balcony and courtyard areas. Cambridge Residences will ultimately have 386 apartments across four medium-rise towers.
