Hideaway in paradise

This luxury four-bedroom apartment is deep in the heart of the beachside action at Surfers Paradise yet it still provides the ultimate in privacy

EVEN before his first sip of morning brew, coffee king Phillip Di Bella’s weekend escape on the Gold Coast would kick off with the spectacular ocean vista from his fourth floor apartment at Allure in Surfers Paradise.

“We get a view of the water from every room in the apartment,” said Mr Di Bella. “It’s a great start to any day.”

After two years enjoying their coastal getaway, the Brisbane-based Mr Di Bella is selling the spacious apartment.

The residence spans 337sq m across the entire fourth floor of Allure, a boutique development with 13 resident-only apartments. The apartment blends a relaxed design with open plan living, while offering the ultimate in privacy.

Floor-to- ceiling retractable stacker doors open on to the expansive outdoor balcony to enhance the sense of space, taking advantage of the spectacular panorama of the Gold Coast’s beachfront.

The apartment has three bedrooms, each with their own ensuite, plus a powder room. There is also a separate office and media room featuring a fully equipped home theatre with integrated Cbus lighting and sound. The apartment has quality fixtures and fittings throughout, with gas cooktops and a coffee maker, of course. The finishes are complemented by limestone tiles, granite benchtops and rich timber panelling.

Mr Di Bella said the decision to sell was difficult, as his family enjoys heading to the Gold Coast when they can.

“It’s a great holiday home and a place for us
