Island project making waves
Art meets residential living in the top-quality development of Chevron One. This luxury high-rise tower will feature 247 apartments across 40 levels starting in price from $428,000
THE Gold Coast’s Chevron Island will soon be home to a residential work of art that will pay homage to the nearby Gold Coast Cultural Precinct.
Set to redefine vertical living, the Chevron One project will features 247 apartments across 40 levels wrapped in wave-inspired architecture.
In a nod to the emerging $365 million arts and cultural precinct at nearby Bundall, Chevron One will incorporate two art exhibition spaces into its recreational offering. It is the first Queensland development for Bensons Property Group.
Bensons’ founder and chairman Elias Jreissati is renowned for his support of the arts community, and Chevron One is no exception.
Bensons’ managing director Rick Curtis said Chevron One was an arts-inspired project that would bring a quality of development “never seen in the island enclave”.
“Chevron One will embrace and enhance the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct through its architectural excellence, the inclusion of an extensive art collection curated to complement the sculptural form of the complex including sculptural works by artists such as James Parrett and Deborah Helpren,” Mr Curtis said.
“It will respect the vision of the cultural precinct, the thriving village and close-knit community that is Chevron Island.”
Apartments are priced from $428,000 for a one-bedroom through to $2.95 million for a four-bedroom residence.
