A sublime Main Beach penthouse has exchanged hands for an equally impressive $3.05 million

A BRISBANE buyer has paid $3.05 million for a spectacular Main Beach penthouse.

The three-bedroom residence at 2301/25 Breaker St is sprawled over three floors of the XXV Breaker Street Residences.

It has 360-degree views of the Coast, high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and its own private rooftop pool.

“The very excited Brisbane-based buyers are looking forward to moving in and enjoying this beachside home in the sky with never-ending water views in every direction,” said Robert Graham of Ray White Surfers Paradise Group.

“The buyers were originally drawn to the property because of its 745sq m floorplan which is significantly larger than anything else on the market at the moment.

“That size in addition to the residence being in a residential boutique building ticked all the boxes for what they were after.”

The property is in a near-new condition, having never been lived in full-time.

The bottom level of the penthouse includes the main living areas, kitchen, two bedrooms and movie room while the middle level features the pool, sauna and outdoor entertaining area.

The master suite takes up the 25th floor with a walk-in robe, ensuite and balcony.

Other luxury features include a sun deck, sauna and a private basement with enough room for four cars.

In other news, CoreLogic’s Regional Market Update December 2017, released this week, revealed the Gold Coast recorded a 7.6 per cent increase in house values while unit values are up 5.8 per cent.

While values are up, sales volumes on the Coast are down 11.4 per cent.

REIQ Gold Coast zone chairman Andrew Henderson said there was a “distinct lack of stock on the market” which was driving prices up.
