Sweeping views of the coastline and hinterland make this luxury skyhome one of the best places to admire the Gold Coast

IT’S like living on top of the world in this Surfers Paradise sub-penthouse.

With panoramic views that encompass the city skyline, ocean and hinterland, it’s the perfect spot to admire the Glitter Strip’s beauty.

“You can see the whole of the Gold Coast pretty much,” owner Annabell Koh said.

It was the promise of sweeping vistas and its central location that encouraged Ms Koh to buy the 250sq m apartment on the 47th floor of the Circle on Cavill building off the plan. It certainly didn’t disappoint. She has been living in it since 2007 with her daughter, until recently.

Her daughter has moved to Sydney so Ms Koh has decided to downsize, but she won’t be going far.

“I’ll get a smaller one in the same building,” she said.

She loved the building and its proximity to popular cafes, restaurants, shops and the beach. “I think it’s a fantastic lifestyle,” she said. While it was going to be tough for Ms Koh to leave the three-bedroom apartment she has called home for the past decade, she said it was time for another family to create fond memories there.

“It’s been my home for a long time,” she said.

“But I think it’s time for another family or someone else to enjoy this place.”

The lavish skyhome is the picture of luxury living.

High ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and black and white hues give it a classic style while modern fixtures and fittings make it contemporary.

It has an open kitchen and family room, which flows onto one of the apartment’s two balconies.

A formal living and dining area opens onto the second balcony and separates the main bedroom from the two guest bedrooms.

Each of the bedrooms open onto one of the balconies.

The main bedroom has an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe while the two guest bedrooms share a bathroom.

The breathtaking views of the Gold Coast can be seen from almost every room in the apartment.

Residents of the building also have access to onsite amenities, including a theatrette, gym, heated indoor pool and outdoor lagoon, spa, sauna, steam room, games room and alfresco areas.
