It’s the best place to live

The own­ers of Casa Bianca say the sprawl­ing Sor­rento prop­erty ex­ceeded their ex­pec­ta­tions with plenty of space to re­lax and un­wind

IT was the lo­ca­tion which ini­tially drew Jen­nifer and Noel Kennedy to their Sor­rento prop­erty.

The cou­ple bought a block of land at 4 Water­view Cres al­most ten years ago and then set about build­ing their dream home.

“We ac­tu­ally bought the land and amal­ga­mated the block with an­other one be­hind it and we built the house,’’ Mrs Kennedy said.

“So what we were drawn to was the area, we re­ally we love the cen­tral lo­ca­tion of it, the stan­dard of hous­ing, it is just a gen­uinely nice sub­urb to live in, one of the best.’’

Known, as Casa Bianca, the fin­ished prop­erty ex­ceeded their ex­pec­ta­tions.

“When you go from draw­ing up the plans, and we spent a lot of time get­ting the plans right to make sure it was as we wanted it to be, but when you see it ac­tu­ally rise out of the ground it was just fab­u­lous,’’ Mrs Kennedy said.

The area the cou­ple spend the most time en­joy­ing is ac­tu­ally out­side of the house. There are two back pa­tios where they en­joy sit­ting and over­look­ing the pool house and pool.

“The pa­tios are fac­ing north so the as­pect is gor­geous, it is beau­ti­ful in the sum­mer and it is beau­ti­ful in the win­ter.’’

Mrs Kennedy said they were sell­ing be­cause with four grand­chil­dren liv­ing over­seas, they were do­ing more trav­el­ling.

“We do travel to see them and we worry about the house the whole time we are away, we worry about the gar­dens mainly. So we
