“We bought the block about 18 months ago and it was one of the last premium blocks for sale in Mudgeeraba Forest,” Mr Manby said.

“We were after a block that had a huge emphasis on coastal views which is extremely difficult to find.

“What was nice about this block was that it was three acres verse the standard one acre block which gave us more privacy and usability.

“Three quarters of the block is all reserve, so we have beautiful views but then are also screened with natural bush so we don’t have any neighbours.”

The five-bedroom house was built last year by Creative Homes, a Gold Coast building and construction company with a minimum twoyear wait list.

The floorplan centres around the main living area with a covered outdoor entertainment zone on either side.

The internal and outdoor spaces are effortlessly integrated through cavity sliding doors.

A stylish kitchen takes centre stage and features a butler’s pantry, two Vintec wine fridges, a herringbone tiled splashback and rugged concrete benchtops by Caesarstone.

“The massive deck that is about 70sq m is used for entertaining around the pool, then the deck on the eastern side is great for evening entertaining,” Mr Manby said.

“The house was purposely built to host guests for a long period of time, it has its own retreat so they are more self-contained.”

The home has all the modern fixtures and fittings expected of prestigious properties and from the outside it effortlessly blends into its surrounding environment.

“We named the property Wilarimbam which is the Aboriginal name for stars,” he said.

“At night you see incredible stars, it’s very quiet and it truly feels like a holiday retreat.”
