THOSE who enjoy entertaining will feel right at home at this luxury waterfront mansion.

Whether it be a lavish soiree, summer pool party or the ultimate New Year’s Eve gathering with champagne and front seat views of the fireworks, the house is suitable for any occasion.

The contemporary home has a main river position and offers unparalleled views of the city skyline. It was built four years ago and designed by renowned architect Adam Beck of BDA Architects.

Marketing agent Jordan Williams, of JW Prestige Agents, said the mansion was a “modern, industrial masterpiece.”

“There’s not really any house like it on the Gold Coast,” he said. “It boasts over 30m of due north main river frontage, which is very rare especially in Broadbeach Waters.

“It is also built 300mm above traditional flood level so it has an elevated position looking down to the Nerang River and unbelievable skyline views.”

Mr Williams said the grand abode was the ultimate entertainer.

“We have been approached by Samsung and movie production companies to host events there,” he said.

“My favourite part of the house would have to be the fireplace in the lounge room, just sitting there looking out at main river.”

The mansion has a striking stone and timber facade and makes an impressive first statement. The front door opens to a wide hallway, which leads past the centrepiece of the home — a solar-heated pool and spa surrounded by a ModWood deck and landscaped gardens. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer outlooks to the pool area and river views that lie just beyond.

The floorplan then opens to the main living area with a sleek kitchen, dining room and a cosy living room, which sits under a double-height ceiling with feature pendant lighting. A fireplace within a cobblestoned feature wall adds to the ambience of this zone, as does the glass encased, 2000-bottle wine cellar, which is temperature controlled.

The outdoor entertainment areas are seamlessly integrated with the main inside living zones thanks to glass stacker doors, which allow the house to be fully opened up creating an indoor/outdoor haven.

Alfresco entertaining is a breeze thanks to an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, heating, fans and strip lighting in a bespoke concrete beam. Two bedrooms with ensuites, as well as a multipurpose room, gym and laundry complete the ground floor.

The main bedroom sits in a private wing on the second level and offers a balcony, ensuite, walk-in wardrobe and study.

Two further bedrooms with walk-in wardrobes and ensuites are also on the top floor in a separate wing.

The owner Karen Flynn is selling to downsize now her children have moved away from home.
