Land on offer at Paradise Points’ Sovereign Shores estate has almost sold out

- WORDS JESSICA BROWN

THE chance to buy land at Paradise Point is dwindling with 17 blocks left in a new waterfront estate.

Metacap Developments’ residential community Sovereign Shores includes 58 blocks, most of which have already sold in stages 1 and 2.

They range in size from 425sq m to 728sq m with prices starting from $550,000 up to $1.149 million.

Ray White Runaway Bay Group’s Ali Mian and Ian Spurle are marketing the development, which will overlook Sovereign

Islands and the Broadwater.

Mr Mian said the remaining blocks were expected to sell out fast.

“We had five sales last week and we’ve got another dozen people interested in the remaining blocks,” he said.

“A lot of buyers are local within a 5km to 10km radius.”

He urged prospective buyers to get in fast if they wanted land in the area as he believed the development would be sold out by March.

“Once these are gone, there’s no more land,” he said.

“I can’t see any land coming, there’s none available.”

Construction on some of the houses to be built in the estate has already kicked off with more due to start in the next few weeks.

Residents will also be able to access the established resort-style facilities of Salacia Waters, including a library, theatre, gym, sauna and pool and spa, while marina berths will be available to hire or buy.

“Ten years ago when you looked at it, it was bare land,” Mr Mian said.

“It will be a very nice estate once it’s finished.”
