Downsizers a perfect fit
Downsizers are upgrading their lifestyle by buying into Aniko Group’s $140 million No. 1 Grant Avenue project at Hope Island, which will include 210 apartments
STEVEN and Mary Anderson were quick to snap up an apartment in Hope Island’s new No. 1 Grant Avenue development.
The couple had been searching for an apartment to downsize from their fivebedroom home for 18 months before coming across Aniko Group’s $140 million project.
Mr Anderson said they initially wanted a villa but found what they were looking for at No. 1 Grant Avenue.
“We’re currently living at Hope Island Resort so we know the area well and knew this is where we wanted to be,” he said.
“When we came across No. 1 Grant Avenue we were immediately impressed with its great location and also the attention to detail in the design of the apartments.”
They were looking forward to taking advantage of everything the development had to offer. “I have a boat and love the water so it’s been great to be able to buy a marina berth with our apartment so we can get out on the water as often as we like,” Mr Anderson said.
“Downsizing from a five-bedroom home means there will be less maintenance and we can make more time for the things we really enjoy doing.” The project will comprise 210 apartments once finished, the first stage of which will include 105 residences with prices starting from $369,000. Aniko Group founder George Mastrocostas said an increasing number of downsizers were being draw to the project.
“There is certainly a growing trend to downsize your living arrangements in order to maximise your lifestyle,” he said.
“That’s something we are very aware of and are able to cater to at No. 1 Grant Avenue because of its remarkable positioning in Hope Island and the facilities within the project. We’re offering a resort-like lifestyle in a rapidly developing corridor on the Gold Coast and our buyers are certainly responding well to this.”
