A PALM Beach couple has snapped up a beachfront house in The Golden Four at Bilinga for a multimillion-dollar price.

The project has received strong interest since launching in December with one of the four residences – Illuka – selling for $2.995 million.

The Golden Four is a cluster of four standalone houses on individually titled lots with no body corporate fees. There are two with beachfront positions.

Sherpa Investments managing director Christie Leet said The Golden Four provided an alternative option to owning an apartment.

“This is the ultimate traditional house and land package,” he said.

“Your own home, designed to your needs, on the beach on the Gold Coast is still a dream for many locals and the interest we have had indicates there are plenty of buyers ready to make the switch from an apartment to a home.

The Golden Four is structured to allow buyers to purchase the land and then work with a builder to customise pre-approved house designs.

Remaining residences are priced at $3.195 million, $1.699 million and $1.599 million.

Each of the two beachfront residences in The Golden Four will sit on about 250 sqm of land and have 8m of ocean frontage.

The four-bedroom houses have been designed to include double garages, lifts, 3m ceilings, ducted airconditioning and indoor/ outdoor living areas including plunge pools.

All four properties were designed by Herwig Hartl Architects with interiors by Michelle Gibbons of Dot Dot Designs.

Pending council approval, civil works are due to start in April.
