Convenient for local workers
Construction on a collection of 74 contemporary terrace homes is underway in Southport, offering the prime location to live, work and play
CONNECTIVITY and convenience are the key drawcards for residents at Southport’s Sphere Garden Terraces.
Villaworld Homes by AVID Property Group turned the first sod on the project earlier this week.
The 74 two-level, three-bedroom terrace homes are in response to market demand for spacious modern living within the Gold Coast’s largest employment hub – the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct in Southport.
AVID General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper said the development of terrace homes, in what was previously planned for a mid-rise development, was a market responsive decision.
“Sphere Garden Terraces has been specifically designed with local professionals in mind,” Mr Harper said.
“Being in a location that is so convenient for local workers, we wanted Sphere to be a community that met the needs of those people, both in terms of living and design but also amenities and accessibility.
“With easy access to two of the Gold Coast’s largest employers, Griffith University and the Gold Coast University Hospital, plus the light rail at your doorstep and all that the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct has to offer, Sphere presents the ultimate lifestyle for young professionals and downsizers.”
Sphere’s existing facilities include a heated lap pool, spa, children’s pool, barbecue area, gymnasium and rooftop garden.
Prices in Stage 1 start from $555,000 with construction expected to be completed by June, 2021.
