Low-maintenance living draws buyers

A sell-out of the first two stages in The Delta Hope Island means it full steam ahead for the development of luxury apartments

-

STOCKLANDS will release a further 14 townhouses in its luxury Delta Hope Island community following the sell-out of the first two stages.

Designed by award-winning BDA Architecture, the new release will comprise a collection of four-bedroom waterfront townhomes and three-bedroom gardenfacing townhomes, with prices starting from $550,000.

The 3.3 hectare, $60 million community is located on the Hope Island canals within the Gold Coast’s northern growth area at 2-44 Marina Quays Boulevard.

It is the first standalone medium density community that Stockland has built in Queensland for several years.

Construction on the development began in April and once completed will deliver 91 townhomes and residences, with designs inspired by the surrounding waterways.

David Laner, the general manager at Stockland, said buyers were drawn to the low-maintenance, waterside living.

“We’ve had an increase in buyers eager to embrace the Gold Coast’s laid-back waterside

lifestyle, and there has been rising demand for architecturally designed boutique townhomes in well-located, highquality communities,” Mr Laner said.

“We’re excited to see so much interest in Delta Hope Island and look forward to seeing the community come to life.”

Resident in the Delta community will have access to communal lifestyle facilities such as a waterfront boardwalk, resort-style pool, communal barbecue and a dog park.

There is also an option to secure a marina berth under long-term lease.

Delta Hope Island is situated opposite the Hope Island Marketplace, which has supermarkets and specialty retail shops.

The Delta Hope Island display suite is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm.
