THEY could be living in your street.

Or maybe you walked past them at the supermarket and didn’t even give them a second thought. That could change soon. Gold Coast police have released a list of criminals and are appealing to the public to help find them.

They are wanted for crimes they allegedly committed on the Gold Coast.

Despite the best efforts of police these people have evaded capture – one of them for many years.

Michael Tillman has been in hiding since 2010 when he allegedly attempted to murder a 23-year-old man in Surfers Paradise.

The victim suffered multiple wounds after a dispute over a woman.

Tillman is also wanted for allegedly grievously harming a 46-year-old man at Benowa Tavern in August 2011. He allegedly bit the man’s face, causing serious wounds to his nose and cheek.

Detectives have obtained a warrant for his arrest.

He is described as caucasian, 175cm tall with a solid muscular build and green eyes. He may have short brown hair or a shaved head.

People are advised not to approach Tillman but to immediately contact police should they sight him.

But Tillman isn’t the only one on the run.

“Police are seeking assistance from the public to locate these persons who are wanted for a variety of offences,” Detective Superintendent David Hutchinson said.

“Arrest warrants have been issued.

“The activities of these persons directly impact on the general community.

“They have little respect for people’s property and no respect for the law. They need to be apprehended and put before the courts.”
