JACKIE’S EXPECTING A BIG LIFE SWITCH
REALITY television star Jackie Martin is finally about to enjoy some maternity leave, one week out from the date her baby is due.
The Seven Year Switch star is relishing some quiet time with fiance Tim Naughton ahead of the arrival of their first child, due next Saturday.
Up until Thursday Jackie was still teaching her BoxaBIKE exercise classes, combining cycling with wrist weight boxing on stationary bikes, as well as running the couple’s national fitness company, Division Ex.
After battling through severe pelvic pain during her pregnancy that made it “excruciating” to walk, Jackie said she was looking forward to meeting their newest addition.
“I have still been able to teach classes and I walked into the gym and everyone was like, ‘You can’t even walk, how are you going to ride a bike?’,” she said.
“But there is no impact and my pelvis is stable (on the bike).
“I’m hoping I can now have a babymoon with Tim and go out for lunch and dinner and walk on the beach.”
Jackie and Tim shot to fame after taking part in “switch therapy” which saw them matched and living with another partner for two weeks in a bid to save their relationship.
Now stronger than ever, the pair were back in the headlines recently after an intermediate maternity photo shoot together went viral.
Pacific Pines-based photographer Jade Schofield was behind the natural lighting session and said that she never expected her photos would receive such a big response.
