2016 Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Awards, Bundall: The JUWS Photography Award is considered one of the most important annual surveys of contemporary Australian photographic practice. Justine Varga is this year’s winner for her work Marking Time, a chromogenic, handprinted, cameraless photograph that sits at the edge of forgetfulness. The winner’s and all finalists’ works are on display at the Arts Centre Gold Coast today and tomorrow.
