At just 25 years old, Mr Fairweather is man in know when it comes to cattle.
He said show preparation was a six-month process.
“I have to work out the schedule, entry and competitions,” he said. “The kids love seeing the cattle, it’s just something a bit different from what they’re used to on the Gold Coast.”

Doctor Rube looked the part alongside a band of freak acts at Sideshow Wonderland.
The wacky, front-of-house microphone-man worked the crowd with ease.
“There’s lots of smiles here at the Gold Coast Show and just a great reception from the crowd,” he said.
The freak show features the Byron Bay-based Space Cowboy, who holds 44 Guinness World Records.
