Boy in water tank tragedy

A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy drowned in a water tank in Queensland’s Lockyer Valley yesterday.

The toddler’s family members raised the alarm with police about 11am when they couldn’t find him on the property at Helidon Spa.

The boy was found in a water tank and despite the efforts of paramedics who performed CPR, he couldn’t be saved.

A police spokeswoman said there were no suspicious circumstances and it was “a terrible accident”.
