Life is going swimmingly for Rio star
SWIM star Cameron McEvoy is back in town post-Rio, spending quality time with his girlfriend Violet Atkinson. The loved-up couple were spotted this week shopping in Surfers Paradise before hitting the beach for some rest and relaxation. “I actually met Cam when we were both only 11 at Northcliffe Surf Club. It seems so long ago,” Violet said. “We have been dating for just under two-and-a-half years now and I couldn’t be happier.” Violet, who works as a solicitor for Surfers law firm Cronin Litigation, is a fashion enthusiast and used to model under the name of Violet Grace. She is also researching the economics and intellectual property law of fashion. For McEvoy, 22, Violet is a ready-made sounding board for his new role as ambassador fronting the Myer Spring 2016 men’s campaign, featuring fashion brand Industrie, which he says he is enjoying.
