OZ Minerals has drop in output

GOLD and copper producer OZ Minerals has lowered its full-year gold output forecast amid the fallout from last month’s power blackouts across South Australia.

The outages led to an extended loss of power at the Prominent Hill copper and gold mine, resulting in 56 hours of lost production in the three months to September, the Adelaide-based company said in a statement yesterday.
