OFF-TRACK BEAT ROCKS GOLDIE

The 600 Sounds concert at the Broadwater Parklands tonight is a weekend highlight and stars Aussie bands The Living End, The Rubens and Birds of Tokyo

-

THERE’S no bigger event on the Goldie than the GC600 regardless of whether you’re a racing fan or not.

With all the supercar racing action on track and a steady stream of entertainment off track, the event is one long super weekend.

Other than the racing action on the track today and tomorrow on what is one of the world’s toughest street racing circuits, tonight’s 600 Sounds concert is an event highlight in its own right.

Held at the Broadwater Parklands, the GC600 party swings off trackside to keep the crowd revved up with headline acts.

Australian award-winning rockers The Living End, The Rubens with their number #1 hit in the 2015 Triple J Hottest 100, and Birds of Tokyo are all on the line-up.

Back on the track, Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Trucks are returning after a hugely successful debut last year.

The trucks reach speeds upwards of 210km/h and jump man-made ramps, flying 100m through the air, twostories off the ground.

Also trackside is Club 600, returning again with a line-up of DJs at an exclusive Las Vegas-style day club hidden in the heart of the precinct.

You can also catch the notorious Jackass crew at Club 600, for their only Gold Coast show. Their unique brand of comedy mixed with crazy stunts has entertained millions of fans.

Their larger-than-life stage show will see a mix of stand-up comedy, stunts, stories, insults and observations.

They appear at Club 600 tomorrow at 12.45pm.
