FIRST-term Gaven MP Sid Cramp will be breathing a sigh of relief after the changes saw the marginal seat become slightly safer. Under the new boundaries Mr Cramp’s margin would rise from 2.2 per cent to 3 per cent.

The changes have shrunk the size of the seat considerably with Clagiraba, Guanaba and Maudsland removed from the electorate.

The seat now runs from Pacific Pines in the north to Highland Park in the south.

Labor Senator Murray Watt told the Bulletin last year the party would target the seat at the upcoming election.
