SMALL changes to the seat of Burleigh have slightly narrowed the LNP’s winning margin with projections showing that if the last election were held on the new boundaries Burleigh MP Michael Hart would have picked up the seat by 5.5 per cent.

He won the seat with a margin of 6.2%.

The new-look Burleigh loses the Miami area but gains more of Palm Beach with the southern boundary now stretching to Currumbin Creek.

Mr Hart confirmed he would “absolutely” put his hand up to run in the seat at the next poll.
