Titans have top partners in search for success

-

GOLD Coast’s chances of attracting and retaining NRL star power have been boosted by Trip-a-Deal’s extended partnership with the Titans.

The booming Byron Baybased travel company’s rich partnership with the club was yesterday officially renewed until the end of 2018.

Part of the beefed-up agreement will see their branding now feature on the sleeves of Titans jerseys as well as the back, with Trip-a-Deal managing director Norm Black encouraged by the club being “on the road to success”.

Trip-a-Deal have already played a key role in securing the recruitment and retention of stars Jarryd Hayne and Kane Elgey through marquee player agreements.

Sydney clubs have long been known for their player pulling power courtesy of lucrative third-party deals to sweeten contracts, showing the importance of Trip-a-Deal’s renewal.

Titans boss Graham Annesley hailed the deal a sign of confidence in his club.

“Through the investment that Trip-a-Deal are making with the Titans and with their personal support of both Jarryd and Kane who have got marquee player agreements with the company, their investment in the Titans is well over seven figures.”

“That’s great news for our club.”

Hayne backed Annesley’s comments, saying it was great for the Titans.

Meanwhile, freshly-minted Titans captain Ryan James has been confirmed as one of the star attractions when the Fox League team comes to town next week.

James will take part in a Fox League sportsmen’s night on Tuesday at Melbas in Surfers Paradise.

He will be joined by Bryan Fletcher, Nathan Hindmarsh and Queensland Origin coach Kevvie Walters.

The event is free and starts from 6.45pm. Visit Foxsports.com.au/foxtour
