BENOWA- BASED racing and flight simulation company Next Level Racing has accelerated away with an innovation award.

Next Level Racing, which was founded by brothers Hess and Tony Ghahramanian in 2010, sells simulators and motion technology products in more than 20 different countries.

The company has been recognised with the Mayor’s Innovation Award at the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards for May.

Hess Ghahramanian said he was delighted to win the award.

He said their products were used by people ranging from gamers through to professional pilots and race car drivers, and by organisations such as universities and training institutions.

“We work with companies such as Sony, Microsoft and Samsung to provide simulation products that complement their products,’’ Mr Ghahramanian said. “Our products are now available through our distribution channels in Asia, Middle East, Europe and North America and we have our products available in all JB Hi-Fi stores.”

“We sell our racing and flight simulator cockpits for a retail price of less than $1000 and they are designed for home use.

“However, we also have many clients from around the world using our simulator for advanced training.”

He said these include Australian and UK air force cadets, Bristol’s Department of Aero- space Engineering, Hong Kong University, RMIT University, Wolverhampton University and Disney USA.

Mr Ghahramanian said last year the company exhibited at the world’s two largest gaming expos in Los Angeles and Cologne, Germany.
