ROCK ON WITH AUSSIE ICONS

-

From the ’90s to now, it’s time to break out your best flannel and celebrate some of the finest of Aussie rock.

Baby Animals and The Screaming Jets are sharing a stage for the first time in 25 years – and bringing all their hits with them to Helensvale’s NightQuarter.

Fronted by Suze DeMarchi and Dave Gleeson respectively, two of the country’s most dynamic performers, fans can look forward to a solid gold night of rock with songs such as Better, One Word, Helping Hand, Painless, Shivers, Early Warning, Rush You and Eve Of Destruction.

With nine albums, seven Top 40 radio hits, countless live shows and a Hot Metal magazine No. 1 album for 2016, The Screaming Jets are working harder than ever even after 27 years in the business.

Meanwhile, this time in 1992, Baby Animals were celebrating their first No.1 album with their debut release. Fast forward 25 years and the band are riding high on the back of full houses for their recent One Word anniversary tour.

“We first shared a stage with the Baby Animals about 25 years ago,” says Dave Gleeson.

“We’ve all done a lot of miles since then. There’s always been a lot of mutual respect and musical admiration between the two bands. We’re all pumped.” WHERE: NightQuarter, Helensvale CONTACT: nightquarter.com.au PRICE: tickets from $50
