In a four-page reply, Ms Carter slammed Mr Pyne and called for an apology.

She claimed allegations made about her were false, made without evidence, sourceless, vexatious and malicious. Ms Miller said she would refer the allegations to the Crime and Corruption Commission. Asked if Pisasale’s arrest was vindication, Mr Pyne said: “I do feel vindicated”. Pisasale was granted bail on Wednesday in Brisbane Magistrates Court. He was charged with extortion and assault.
