Car incident kills woman

POLICE are investigating a fatal traffic crash in Highland Park yesterday afternoon.

Officers were called to Fleet St around 5.15pm following reports that a woman had been struck by a car.

Initial information suggests the woman was walking behind the car when it rolled down a slope and ran over her.

She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
