No case for rugby star
CHARGES against former Wallabies player Scott Higginbotham over an incident involving Brisbane police have been dropped.
Higginbotham was charged in February with obstructing police and illegally entering the Fortitude Valley Police Beat after one of his friends was arrested for urinating in public.
He was expected to enter a plea at Brisbane Magistrates Court yesterday but police prosecutor Kevin Carmont said evidence would not be offered and formally dropped charges.
