Adds up to big honour for James
GOLD Coast accounting firm MWM Advisory is a finalist in the Accounting Firm of the Year category at the 2017 SMSF & Accounting Awards.
MWM Advisory director James Marshall said it was a great honour to be recognised for the services it provides.
“There was a gap in the market for a service-oriented accounting and advisory business (when we started in 2013),” Mr Marshall said.
“The Gold Coast is a hub for entrepreneurship and there are significant-size businesses here who need an extra level of care and support.”
Mr Marshall said its success was down to recognition the industry was changing and so were the needs of clients.
“That is why we have developed a model based on multilevel advice and real relationships, geared to help clients’ businesses succeed in the long term.
“It’s wonderful to be viewed as a leader in this space and this award reinforces the strength of our brand in servicing our clients.”
MWM Advisory is the sole Gold Coast-based accounting firm to be short-listed for the prestigious award.
The Carrara-based firm offers accounting and business advisory services to businesses across southeast Queensland.
