Mobile coffee franchises among top ventures
GOLD Coast-based food franchise king Retail Food Group has added some shine to its crown with more industry accolades at this year’s top-franchise Awards.
RFG’s mobile coffee franchise brands – The Coffee Guy and Cafe2U – have been ranked among the top performers within Australia’s franchising sector.
The Coffee Guy, one of the country’s newest mobile coffee franchises, has placed fifth in the expansion category for best practice and performance. Established in 2006 in Auckland, New Zealand, the franchise successfully launched into the Australian mobile coffee market in 2013 and has since grown to become a local icon in select territories throughout the country with more than 20 mobile cafes on the road.
“Mobile coffee is very successful in Australia and The Coffee Guy has seen a successful growth spike through its low-cost entry opportunity and desirable work-life balance,” said RFG general manager – mobile, George Angelis.
Cafe2U scored a top 10 ranking at the 2017 top-franchise Awards, placing ninth as a franchisor of choice in the overall brand category.
