Top players put on dance shoes

THE Ray White Surfers Paradise Muscular Dystrophy Ball – one of the highlights of the city’s social calendar – attracted a Who’s Who of property players and pollies.

Among the VIP partygoers were Sunland founder Soheil Abedian, Mantra boss Bob East, Mayor Tom Tate and Mayoress Ruth Tate, Deputy Mayor Donna Gates and Education and Tourism Minister Kate Jones.

To ensure an accurate report of the glittering event, one half of the team at Bizzy Bits attended and can reveal former UDIA boss David Ransom was able to get his groove on with some sharp moves on the dancefloor, to the electronic music put on.
