Delay on dead sperm

A SUPREME Court judge has reserved her decision over whether a woman can use her dead boyfriend’s sperm to have children. Ayla Cresswell was granted an order to retrieve Joshua Davies’ sperm before he died last year.

But in the Brisbane Supreme Court yesterday, Justice Susan Brown said the novel case needed consideration as she had to work out if the original order was lawful and if the court had jurisdiction to make the order.
