Give Elle’s fad a dry

ELLE Macpherson might just have found the next trendy food fad to try.

The 53-year-old says that she has begun using a food dehydrator as she tries to maintain her supermodel figure.

Dehydrators preserve fresh fruit, vegetables and meat by removing moisture.

In her monthly column for beauty website Get The Gloss, Macpherson said: “Cooking food can strip it of its nutrients. I like the idea that preparing my meals at a lower drying temperature means they taste great but still have their proper nutritional value.”
