The Raw Chal­lenge 8km muddy ob­sta­cle course is on at Nu­min­bah Val­ley to­day and to­mor­row – and what bet­ter way to pre­pare, or cel­e­brate af­ter the fin­ish, than feast­ing on un­cooked food?

Okay, it’s a lit­tle more ap­petis­ing than that.

In fact, the raw food move­ment has In­sta-lovers sali­vat­ing with its post-wor­thy plates. And one of the best is South­port’s Blendlove.

This ve­gan, gluten-free, cane su­gar-free, dairy-free haven has long boasted a huge se­lec­tion of sweet good­ies.

Rather than count­ing calo­ries, Blendlove counts nu­tri­tion – whip­ping up desserts with high­qual­ity in­gre­di­ents in­clud­ing nuts, nut milks, nut creams, raw ca­cao pow­der, fruits and co­conut prod­ucts.

But now the cafe also boasts a bunch of fear­some meat-free burg­ers. The favourite has to be the BBQ Ranch Burger – it has smoky ranch aioli and mus­tard chut­ney for the sauce, a kale and bean patty for the meat, av­o­cado, tomato and rocket all on a quinoa based, gluten-free bun.
