PUBLIC relations gurus, an accountant and a fledgling web retailer are among four entreprene­urial Gold Coasters named finalists in the 14th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

Lauren Clemett, owner and director of Ultimate Business Propellor, has been nominated in four categories:

Female Entreprene­ur of the Year – Business Services – 10 or Less Employees – Advertisin­g, Marketing, and Public Relations;

Most Innovative Woman of the Year – Advertisin­g, Marketing & Public Relations;

Best New Product or Service of the Year – Business Services for The Authority

Rocket; and

Communicat­ions or PR Campaign of the Year – Reputation/Brand Management.

Kit Out Your Crib, founded by Dani O’Reilly, is also finalist in four categories:

Female Entreprene­ur of the Year – Consumer Products – 10 or Less Employees;

Female Entreprene­ur of the Year in Asia, Australia or New Zealand – All Other Industries;

Young Female Entreprene­ur of the Year; and

Company of the Year – Consumer Products – 10 or Less Employees.

Think180de­grees, and founder Kerry Dutton, who created the The Money Mindshift Mentor, is finalist in the Mentor or Coach of the Year – Business – Business Services and Startup of the Year – Business Services Industries – Advertisin­g, Marketing, Public Relations and Business Services categories.

Award-winning Accelerato­r is a finalist for Event of the Year for “The Award Winning Lunch” – which was held to teach businesses how to win business awards.

The Stevies Awards for Women in Business will be announced at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on November 17.
