Speeding P-plater pinged big time

A P-plater has copped a hefty fine after police caught him going 29km/h over the speed limit on the M1. The Molendinar man, 26, incurred six demerit points and was fined $621 after allegedly hurtling along at almost 140km/h. Coomera Road Policing Unit officers were checking motorist speeds at Oxenford as part of Operation Vulnerable when a Holden Colorado zipped by around 4.35am yesterday.

Playboy has featured its first ever transgende­r Playmate centrefold in its November issue. Ines Rau, a French fashion model who was featured nude in a 2014 issue of Playboy and has previously worked with Vogue Italia, is the first transgende­r model to appear as a centrefold in the magazine’s 64-year history.

Killer’s sick attempt to cover up murder

A woman who posted an online tribute to her boyfriend in the hours following his brutal murder has been sent to jail for life. Zoe Warren took to Facebook after she and her friend, Keiran Adley, tortured and stabbed Mark Shaw at his home in Newcastle, northeast England. In a desperate bid to cover up the murder, Ms Warren posted a moving tribute her “soul partner”. Mr Shaw was found dead on his bed with his ankles tied, his mouth gagged and suffering more than 80 injuries to his head, torso and limbs.
