Race 5 – Maiden (1400m) Lady Eighty Eight hit the line well in town (midweek) on a heavy 9. Grazie Mille Bella ran well in the same race as her after travelling wide. Race 6 – Class 2 (1400m) Shaolin Kungfu is heading straight to a Class 2 after winning on a heavy 10 and looks up to the task. The track and distance specialist Aqua Vite is fit third-up. Tennessee Fling likes it wet and should be in the finish. Windcatcher is a chance on the quick back-up. Selections: 3 Shaolin Kungfu, 1 Aqua Vite, 4 Tennessee Fling, 6 Windcatcher

Race 7 – Class 3 (1200m) Vaulting Ambition can win in the wet and the 3kg claim helps. Back to 1200m suits Don’t Doubt Marley. Snapper Rocks has won first-up on a slow track previously. Race 8 – Class 1 (900m) Cash’n’run has won first-up and should give this a shake. It was an impressive debut run by Desert Cowboy after a tough trip. Amelia Jane trounced them at Toowoomba in a lower grade. This looks an easier task for Bebado. Selections: 3 Cash’n’run, 1 Desert Cowboy, 9 Amelia Jane, 6 Bebado
