Dax moves to new landmark
LANDMARK White director Dax Roep is changing businesses but keeping the ‘White’ part.
Mr Roep, who has also worked for Herron Todd White and CBRE, will join Ray White Special Projects Queensland as an associate director of sales.
He will start his new Gold Coast-based role on January 15.
Mr Roep said the role suited his experience working on residential projects.
“Given my valuation experience has always been within residential projects, I was both excited and humbled to join their team and help expand their coverage and operations,” he said
Mr Roep said his appointment came at a time when the investor market was changing in southeast Queensland.
“While Chinese demand has eased, we are seeing increasing demand from Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney developers,” Mr Roep says.
“More recently, we are also seeing Western Australian groups looking to regain momentum on the Gold Coast.”
Mr Roep entered the property industry as a residential real estate salesperson in January, 1994.
He started his career in valuation in 1998 at PRP Valuers and Consultants, which became DTZ Australia (Gold Coast) Pty Ltd in 2004.
In 2014, he was appointed director of LandMark White (Gold Coast) Pty Ltd.
