GOLD COAST QUADDIE

- NICOLE THOMAS UBET

Race 5 – QTIS 3YO Maiden Hcp (1400m)

Another Dollar should be tough to beat, as she came very close on debut despite making a meal of the start. The testing material is Beat The Beast who flew home last time for second. Epic Rant ran-on well on Magic Millions day and should improve. Top Glamour finished strongly in the same race as the 11.

Selections:

11 Another Dollar

2 Beat The Beast

6 Epic Rant

16 Top Glamour

Race 6 – BM 65 Hcp (1800m) Galiano has been a model of consistency and should get a nice run. Forgive Triumph Star’s tough trip last start and go off his maiden performance prior. Tiarnan stuck on OK after covering ground last start and may improve with luck in running. Shandaara normally improves second-up.

Selections:

1 Galiano

7 Triumph Star

5 Tiarnan

9 Shandaara

Race 7 – Class 2 Hcp (1200m) It was an easy first-up win by Exceed All Odds at Ipswich last month so he should be tough to beat despite the draw. Le Dude might be able to go one better this time first-up after a couple of trials. Distroyia must be included after just missing over this distance last prep. Dispel hit the line well in Toowoomba from well-back and wide.

Selections:

2 Exceed All Odds

3 Le Dude

7 Distroyia

12 Dispel

Race 8 – Class 1 Hcp (1400m) Nothingforthepress went around in the city first-up at big odds and looks better suited here. Princess Elle won well on debut at Murwillumbah and should be hitting the line hard. French Descent won his maiden last start and that effort would see him in the finish. Tycoon Layla was pressured and over-raced last start and should go forward.

Selections:

4 Nothingforthepress 8 Princess Elle

3 French Descent

16 Tycoon Layla
