STANDING UP FOR GOOD

-

Q

Given your views on certain contentious issues, have you ever run for parliament?

A

No, I would never do that. I sort of back people inside politics. I’ll always push people who are standing for the right reasons.

Q

What do you consider the biggest statement you have ever made?

A

Free Mandela was the biggest but I think making people aware of solar, making people aware of beach pollution which is still a problem.

Q

Is it fair to say you did not just talk about things, you actually did things to find remedies?

A

We did the POOO March (People Opposed to Ocean Outfall) with Peter Garrett. It was a walk from Manly to the sewage works at Fairy Bower. That made people aware there was pollution in the water but all they did was to put the outlet pipes further out.

Q

So what is the solution in your opinion? What can be done to overcome this?

A

Feed the effluent inland where we can control it and use it.

Q

What other issues are you really into, or have been into over the years?

A

A solution for the underprivileged who can’t afford housing or food on their table. The answer is feeding the world. You get the solar energy to run computers that automatically plant and grow the food. Every house and community should be fed by these autonomous solar shelters that grow food automatically day and night.
