GOLD COAST QUADDIE

- TOM HACKETT LADBROKES

Race 5 – Class 4 Hcp (1800m) Social Vampire had excuses last start at Doomben and before that bolted in at Ipswich. She makes her own luck right on the speed. Tiarnan showed fight to win last start and has been consistent. Star Echo has a nice turn of foot and still has upside. Audree doesn’t win out of turn but can add value to exotics.

Selections: 1 Social Vampire, 3 Tiarnan, 5 Star Echo, 7 Audree

Race 6 – Class 1 Hcp (1200m) Excelebrazione broke through for a maiden win last start and has generally raced in stronger company than this. Auchentoman chased home the promising Diamonds Are last start and is a horse with plenty of early speed. The lightly raced Oneness has plenty of upside and will take up the running. Dixyville was unlucky last start and is racing well. Selections: 2 Excelebrazione, 1 Auchentoman, 3 Oneness, 8 Dixyville

Race 7 – BM 75 Hcp (1200m) It has been a while between race starts for Mystic Moon but she races well fresh and her best form gives her a class edge on this field. Denbern is the obvious danger although he generally needs a couple of runs to reach peak fitness. Heza Bobby Dazzler produces his best form fresh and can run a big race at juicy odds. Sweet Shamrock has trialed well. Selections: 11 Mystic Moon, 4 Denbern, 1 Heza Bobby Dazzler, 8 Sweet Shamrock

Race 8 – BM 65 Hcp (1400m) Bold Peak has drawn poorly but he has the speed to cross the field and take up a forward position. Miss Severina was dominant at the Gold Coast last start and she still looks to have plenty of improvement. Red Scarlet returned to a semblance of his best last start and doesn’t mind the wet. Beaudacious is capable of a high-rating performance on her day.

Selections: 1 Bold Peak, 14 Miss Severina, 3 Red Scarlet, 4 Beaudacious
