We hit Surfers Paradise club The Bedroom for a fly-on-the-wall night out alongside the MTV reality TV stars of Geordie Shore – the wet pussy shots, the random snogs with locals, and the major PDAs
PARTY animal stars of English reality TV show Geordie Shore are not holding back in Surfers Paradise.
The group, filming on the Gold Coast, have been giving Glitter Strip venues a good working over.
They’ve spent nights out under the glare of TV cameras so far at Sin City, The Island rooftop, Rise gay bar and Waxy’s Irish pub.
ATG randomly ran into them last Thursday at The Bedroom, which is always busy but there was a palpable interest among plenty of patrons.
The Geordies had a private booth complete with the venue’s famed double beds but spent a healthy amount of time on the dance floor.
One star didn’t take long to lock lips with a local, prompting a bar staffer to note: “She’s not the first he played tonsil hockey with tonight.”
After a round of wet pussy shots (they’re weak), stars Sam Gowland and Chloe Ferry had a deep and meaningful on one of the beds, which seemed to go well because she ended up straddling him as they made out, with her skirt up so high her curvaceous butt went on display.
“Normally security would go over and ask anyone going that far to tone it down,” a staffer told ATG.
The Bedroom and Sin City boss Tim Martin says they spent several nights each at the venues: “People are definitely interested – the younger generation – I wouldn’t suggest it helps business on the night because we don’t advertise they’re coming in.
“It’s on the downlow. But it is a good add-on to a night for people.”
A hospo worker says they seem strict on booze: “They monitor how many drinks they have and if they’re starting to get intoxicated they get them out of there.” – Ryan Keen
