A MODEL and personal trainer found with more than 250 steroid tablets, vials of testosterone and a syringe in his jocks has been fined a total of $4000.

It was the third time Jaxon Kade Tippet, 23, fronted court in the past three years for possessing steroids.

Police found Tippet hiding a syringe and needle in his underwear after he was seen “favouring his groin area” when they pulled him over on the Sunshine Coast on November 27 last year.

A search of his car found more than 250 steroid tablets and three vials of testosterone.

Tippet spruiks legal dietary supplements and a “body bulking” program on his Instagram account, which has more than 166,000 followers.

The fitness trainer charges up to $150 for an eight-week bulking program.

Tippet pleaded guilty in Southport Magistrates Court yesterday to six counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two counts of driving unlicensed and one count of failing to properly dispose of a syringe.

Magistrate Donald MacKenzie slammed Tippet for failing to be a good role model.

“Particularly with young men and seeing they can have the body that you have and thinking they can have a body like you by using steroids,” he said.

Mr MacKenzie said Tippet could have bulked up in a legal way such as eating “honey and banana sandwiches”.

He said it was “idiotic” Tippet would be risking his body considering he had a serious heart issue about five years ago.

The court heard yesterday Tippet was found with the drugs in his car when, after an anonymous tip, police pulled him over in Tewantin at about 11.45am on November 27.

Police prosecutor Senior Constable Jack Mulherin said after police stopped Tippet, they noticed he was walking strangely and searched him.

Tippet was fined $3500 for the drugs, $250 for each driving offence and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Convictions were recorded.
